All JS resources are service-worker cached, and prior app state is saved and restored from localStorage, so zero network requests on return.

BTW, my arguments are never about absolutes. I've seen several teams make desktop-era frameworks work. It's a question of headroom.

Good, and I agree, but I also hope we're not over-estimating the loss of headroom from the 38K marginal cost. Like Yehuda said before, 1/

App *does* (or should) render cached results, and if available, does indeed bypass network altogether. Do these tests disable localstorage?
