I don’t want to discuss how to write css anymore, I’d like to discuss how to load/unload it from the browser. still unsolved. (1/n)

webpack does a great job with style/css-loaders, but to prevent FOUCs, they embed the css into js, bypassing some browser optimzations.

link tags would be ideal? they work well on first load when they block render, but fail on pushState navigation and cause the flash.

workarounds for this are intelligent preloading, and/or hiding component while stylesheet loads (ugh)

Or just use CSS inside component definition Shadow DOM with HTML Imports
