Yes it does, Chrome on ChromeOS can save PWAs to the shelf, we weren't the first. Also Chrome on Linux has been doing it for years.

It works for me just fine on desktop. At least no other browser can do that, so I can live with a couple of bugs :-)

I use `+cmd. Yeah, kinda messy, but again, it's better than doing some wrappers in Electron. Also no such problems on Windows AFAIK
