If your base is too big there is literally nothing a product team can do that leads to a good result. And hint: they won't event try.

The base bundle must be tiny. We staffed "project headshot" (sorry insensitive name) and went from 768K to 60K.

...or can afford to adopt Polymer App Toolbox or Vue or Svelte. There are options that work by default.
