What were you doing 10 years ago? Apparently I was learning lessons about browsers the hard way: https://github.com/dojo/dijit/commits/master/_editor?after=7b3019bc3bf2d3641f2ca4172a17b0a8ab5c7e01+699 …

I was learning lessons about mobile Safari the hard way by working for the web for the first gen iPhone with redacted docs given by Apple. 📱

...I should write the chronicle about it. It wasn't easy working for the super secretive product without even being able to see it.

I was thinking of switching to Architecture as a major, but then decided to continue with 2nd year of CS last minute. Very glad I did. 😊

While a great loss for the web development community, it surely would've been a great win for architecture 😄

10 years ago I was 22, making web comics for a living, scraping by, and moving out on my own for the first time. I had learned PHP and CSS.

My comics were popular with teen girls. Won awards even. But they couldn't keep me afloat. I kept reading code books in Barnes and Noble.

Sadly SVN history is lost, but I spend a summer making drag & drop work in IE6. Can't say I miss it much :)

My first open source project took off. Spoke at jQueryCamp at MIT with @felixge @jeresig & crew. My blog was taking off as well. Big year.

Saw you on a panel at Ajax Experience with @jeresig, he said he's going to remove browser sniffing in jQuery, you two didn't agree. 🙃
