The holy grail (to me) would be SSR critical CSS inline in the head, load in static CSS (as .css) on load, then cache all the goodies in SW

Yeah, this conversation has got me thinking about this again. CSS-in-JS definitely makes this easier, but we could do it with plain CSS too.
