Hey friends... it appears that when you hide a video element and show it again a bit later it reloads the data... how to make persistent?

Hey @slightlylate is there a way to cache and reuse video assets? It is really resource hungry to turn "Display: none;" on and off.

Chrome is refetching the video asset after toggling display none. Creating lots of elements, hiding them, showing one by one

there is a large fetch when the app starts but the assets are fetched again each time an element toggles off `display: none;`

: display none will tear down the whole render tree. Is it losing track position too?

we tried 'visibility: hidden;' with similar results for the fetch. All tracks are starting over so unsure about position.

: ok, starting over means all internal state is lost. I'm not sure if this is WAI. @ElliottZ might know

display: none doesn't impact the video player, checked code and tests. Are you using flash video?
