Don't get me wrong, I agree with it. But rush to ship, using big libs for features, causes more bloat than framework.

react/webpack combo works very well if the devs using it code split. thats it tho.

But that's written by perf-oriented people. Normal devs with polymer would load a couple big libs and hit slowness.
