Contributions to a project with a specific public license continue to fall under that license. What is in a CLA that requires signing?

@slightlylate@iTorrey sure, but that’s the same as saying “these exist,” I am not pretending they don’t exist. -

@slightlylate@brianleroux@mikeal@iTorrey Mozilla/Rust at least takes contributions without CLA. -
@cburgdorf@slightlylate@brianleroux@iTorrey it’s also dual licensed Apache/MIT so something non-standard for Mozilla is going on there. - 1 more reply

@slightlylate@brianleroux@mikeal@iTorrey Mozilla doesn't require a CLA to contribute. You have to sign stuff to get commit privileges. -
@mounirlamouri@slightlylate@mikeal@iTorrey that is in important distinction to make. Apache too.

@slightlylate@mikeal@iTorrey Mozilla only makes you sign one if you want direct commit access. Anyone can submit a patch or pull request.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
