@slightlylate@jamesweiner@davglass I use the UniFi Commercial AP. Connect this to a gigabit router: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0089QB1SC/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=wms_ohs_product …

@slightlylate When I bought my new place, I dropped GB in all rooms for things like Tivo's, AppleTV's, PS3, etc. then wifi for the portables -
@davglass as a renter, I envy you that. Would have done same, obviously.

@slightlylate it’s 2013 and wifi still sucks, even in the confines of a house. But we can skydive from the edge of space. Go figure. -
@wycats it's worth it, though...can now upload photos reliably: http://www.flickr.com/photos/slightlyoff/8542865008/in/photostream …

@markhurrell@jamesweiner@slightlylate AirPort Extreme also good, especially if you have mixed 802.11n/g devices. -
@intranation@markhurrell@jamesweiner sorry, after enough failures, have kicked apple WiFi gear to the curb. *Terrible* perf in noisy envs.

@jamesweiner@markhurrell or like the name of an evil future corp in Dr. Who. -
@slightlylate@jamesweiner@markhurrell the great is nice though. Best router I've had. Asus rt-n16 with tomato is great too.
