What did you find had better DX? I would love the feedback for LitElement!

I don’t mind writing a Webpack config etc (I’ve done it several times and pretty complex ones too), but being to just `stencil build —watch` and seeing it done in a couple of seconds is awesome. Also —serve to start a webserver so you can showcase your component.pic.twitter.com/oHkOGijXms

Thanks for the replies! We try to be "just a library" & work with any tool, so we don't have our own compiler / bundler pipeline or config generator. There are tools like lit-analyzer, eslint-plugin-lit, lit-plugin, & es-dev-server that will give you the same features.

We've put those together into a start kit recently: https://github.com/PolymerLabs/lit-element-starter-ts … We'll be building and promoting that more as the full-DX starting point.

Any plans to add it into lit-element-starter-ts as best practice?

We don't recommend bundling elements right now, so it's more of an app thing.

Got it. BTW, do you have a lit-element app template that provide best practices? pwa-starter-kit was bloated by redux and is now deprecated in favor of
@openwc-starter-app, but it looks abandoned (the last commit dated 11 month ago).3 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

Something like good old polymer-starter-kit (responsive app layout, app drawer, 3 pages) but that use lit-element (and maybe lit-element based material design 2 web components) instead of Polymer would be awesome.

the
@pwabuilder team is interested in this idea of providing devs a good starting point for building apps with lit-element and may or may not be working on a solution for thispic.twitter.com/haLfku8huJ0 replies 0 retweets 8 likesThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
