The focus has shifted, it doesn't seem like we have aimed for the goals you are expressing for a long time. We also didn't have the right examples/problem scenario's for a long time or less publicly. I'd rather fight the problem than report it

Dropping synthetic events wouldn't just break IE; it would also break backwards compatibility with the other random tweaks they've made to the event system, e.g. <input onChange> in React fires like onInput, on every change, not waiting for blur.

IMO, dropping the synthetic event system should be on your wishlist, but way down at the bottom. Your other two requests are for docs? I'm skeptical that docs would have an impact here, and doubly skeptical of docs as a "sign of minimal interest."
