The comments in https://www.techspot.com/news/84092-google-warning-edge-users-security-risks-suggests-switching.html … serve as nice evidence of the effectiveness of FUD as a marketing tactic. I feel bad for the Chrome Security folks put in the delicate position of explaining that some "Security" claims are honest, and some are, well, not.

AFAIK Chrome's concern is that they can't protect Edge users that install extensions from CWS because Edge has removed SafeBrowsing integrations That said, I only found out about it after it went live & I'm really disappointed that we're leaning into FUD
