Well, the way I think about it, the experience of uploading a picture taken with a camera should be similar to a native app — in Apple Mail on iPhone it asks you what size you want, for example. Would love that choice in a form.

One, and perhaps the only, thing I've learned after a decade of adding features to the web in the hopes that people will ship less JS in response: this is a mirage.
