This isn't fair, Alex. HTML is not a dead language, and plenty of people who "claim to love it" actively imagine it better. Painting with a broad brush stroke there, aren't you?

Adrian makes a perfectly valid point there that “better” routinely _comes across_ like “googl-er” these days. I get the frustration of (crappy) feedback. but in parts it’s fueled by “why don’t you all just shut up and do what wise caring Google says” attitude. like this tweet.
