Is there a fast graphql client JS library? Or is graphql fated to be as synonymous with slow as vdom has become?

It's a serious question. Graphql client slowness is a persistent feature of traces that cross my desk and I'd like to help teams avoid needing to ditch graphql the way we often have to help people replace certain view frameworks and other tools.

I think the community has been pretty consistently calling you out on your tone, not the content of your messages. Why do you think that is?

If your reaction is “whatever”, then fine, “whatever”. With regards to your actual question, there’s nothing stopping you from using fetch or XMLHttpRequest. The simplest client out there to the best of my knowledge is graphql-request:https://github.com/prisma-labs/graphql-request …

My reaction was "on a plane for 13 hours, didn't see your reply". Others have provided good advice, which I thank them for. Appreciate the pointer and will try it out.
