Here's a good way to think about the explosive growth of mid and low-end mobile, which will continue for the next ~4-5 years: It is very likely, that over the course of your working career, computers and networks have, on average, gotten *slower*.

Most people I know who dropped flagships (vast majority) swapped to mid level / "flagship killer" tier for 2 reasons: the insane price of top spec phones and performance of most mids is now "good enough"

But haven't those mid and lowend phones been improving too? Yes there are _terrible_ lowend phones - I have one in a drawer as backup that drives me nuts - check my site with occasionally. But aren't most mid price phones at the same standard flagships were 5-8 years ago?
