Speed is necessary but not sufficient. I'm really sad we're stuck in this bad place about a baseline need-to-have. To win, we need the model advantages of the web (iteration speed, security, lightweight, shareable) to be felt in the lives of users; hence PWAs, TWAs, Fugu, etc.
This is
None of this is a one-turn game. In a world where many apps are delivered via TWAs, we get to a place where more experiences *can* be delivered via other discovery mechanisms.

If we want to chart a path out of the app store culdesac, we need tech and tools that don't tie you to it fundamentally (hence my continued argument against TWA EH).

You move to TWA. Android moves to instant. We've got to get more discovery outside of play. It's not our yard to play in and get to a place they can't compete as easily
