JS is the web's CO2, and we should start asking why the biggest polluters aren't cleaning up their respective acts. Loudly. Insistently. Even when that's uncomfortable.

While I agree that js bloat is a problem, it is a problem on an entirely different scale than climate change and to imply equality there makes me feel icky.

It’s an analogy. The scale is always difference when you use an analogy, that’s sort of built in.
