Please explain the meaning "React integrates poorly with DOM". Use simple explanation if possible, because I'm not a library developer and didn't face fundamental issues with regards to the subject.

React doesn't use DOM's event system -- it includes a duplicate system, I presume put there to work around legacy browsers -- and React components can't be managed via their DOM nodes like Web Components can. React builds a parallel object tree which is incidentally totalising.

This is a common design for legacy frameworks -- we did something similar in Dojo back in the day -- but Web Components and regular DOM scripting don't have this problem; you can integrate components from many different DOM/WC systems w/o concern.
