Agreed. That’s why we interviewed developers and coded those interviews to get the needs from them, before fielding a survey to quantify those needs. We have 16 hours of interviews to add context to the survey results. And we’ll follow up with interviews and surveys on top items.

I know that MSFT has been responsive to key developer requests too. Excited to have this survey evidence to counterbalance intuition and anecdotal prioritisation.

That's precisely my concern. Unless this data is weighted by developer reach (which it can't) it risks mixing up what the average dev want vs. what's needed to serve end users well.

Yes. I'm aware. Unfortunately I'm seeing a lot of knee-jerk reaction to Fugu, precisely because it's a partnership-led Google effort. While I understand the underlying sentiment, I'm very concerned that this is creating an us vs. them culture that's a disservice to end-users.
