Today I was proven stupid: "so for some reason 64GB took an extra second to come back from sleep compared to 32GB when put into S3." now I need to go back to work and figure out the mystery of this phenomenon.
What's the disk bandwidth and memory compression ratio? 1s might just be straight I/O time.

Regardless of the disk bandwidth (which is 2000MB/s sequential), this is weird - S3 leaves the RAM running so it should not make a difference.
