Did you know that I ported gecko to iOS *twice*? Once back in 2010 on a jailbroken device and once again in 2015 on stock iOS:https://imgur.com/tBGy9hB

It's just good corporate warfare. Google's trying to kill their App Store by making the web more native-like. They're trying to kill Google's creepy ad network by making the web more private. Meanwhile we web devs are just pawns on this giant chessboard

Browser vendors should abandon iOS app store, there is no point to be there, they are forced to provide a crippled product that frustrate their clients. Also, at the same time, they help Apple to justify that there is competition on browsers on the app store. Why they do that?

I still don't understood how they get away with this. If this would be the case on Android or Windows all hell would break loose.

So why has nobody sued Apple yet, if the policy is so anti-competitive ?

This is very sad, truly. And I hate that it is the way it is. But, until something like Google/EU sue them (and win), nothing will happen on their side. So I gave up caring about it. Should we do now? Can we really do something about it?
