...after all, anything we ship to Stable out from behind a flag is something we're stuck with ~forever. So our process focuses heavily on gathering evidence that lets us judge 2 things: * does this feature solve an important problem? * does it solve it well?
...and it isn't possible to solicit feedback privately or to a privileged group of insiders without opening oneself to charges of favoritism. So we use public mechanisms, like that blog post. So what about it would you like to see changed?

Just slowing down the number of features being pumped out would be huge. If Google's goal is a vibrant web, maybe some of that Google talent could be redirected from new web features to catching other browsers up.

The beauty of the web is that (in theory) you can interact with it in the way that you choose, but if chrome adds new features every week (and websites use those features), pretty soon you can only "choose" chrome.
