Got the deployment system working for the little demo app I've been working on.
This gave me the first chance to see the site on webpagetest. Work to do, but it's a
on performance (low end device and 3g).
Hoping to finish analytics this weekend.

Personally, I think there is a lot to learn from frameworks and demos. Absolute raw performance is very rarely the single determining factor for success. But performance is an important factor. Users benefit if all products shipped to the web are fast by default.

Maybe but at a much higher cost to every player. It's not a secret that creating and maintaining high performance web apps is hard and costly. We can run 3D games at 60fps on the web but if onscroll tries to measure an element, scroll jank! Why? WAY too many perf gotchas.

I know hard work and brilliance is put into solving these but they are still complex. Millions of web developers are not go figure out how to make Houdini work. I believe it's time to allow non-DOM/non-JS frameworks compete with native stack open up Skia, develope WebAssembly
