@grigs in your book you say, "You can also detect when connectivity returns via the http://navigator.onLine and
backgroundSync APIs." Is using the backgroundSync as a flag for online something you can really do? I didn't think the API provided that kind of functionality.

dont apologize. it is a damn good book (and sorry ive taken so long to read it so i can share my review). its my only nit so far.

I'm sure the error is mine! The point I made *very* badly is that you can't know when a device is online from link state, so you need to ping to actually verify that you are; that is, `http://navigator.onLine ` isn't enough on it's own. bgsync could be one way to test.
