Most important question I asked in meeting today: >>ARE WE USING TYPESCRIPT?<<
-
-
I just realized typo there, I was asking "what's the ~" I think for the project we settled on - library we can separate out: TS - other parts people might edit: JS
-
also you can still get typechecking on the JS parts if you annotate with JSDoc

Should we all code without types until TC39 is ready??
-
Of course not! But we should probably figure out how to insulate the bits that need types from the bits where you want to collaborate with low friction (not requiring a particular version of a particular toolchain, etc.)

@RemindMeBot remind me in one year of the fate of TypeScript. -
Nothing here will be sorted in a year; think 5, minimum.

Looking into lit-element and lit-html because we want to do web components. Frontpage states "There’s no new abstraction on top of the web platform." Then all source code is Type Script.
-
...and it's entirely optional. Have never used TS to make Lit components.
