<std-toast> and <std-switch> feels like a new approach to standardization, as does requesting TAG review on the same day you post an intent to implement.

Arguably, the
@w3ctag review should come *later*, after you've iterated a bit under a flag with real developers trying it out. The Discourse post should certainly come before TAG review, so they're not buried in proposals with flaws that the community would have found.3 replies 0 retweets 5 likes
We've also asked folks to ask the TAG for early review because the TAG wants to help shape early designs. I2I is also a malleable moment, so these things going together isn't bad.
