Yes, please. However, styling remains an issue and a component design consideration until shadow parts are in all browsers. I think hindsight will show that styling considerations need to be a core feature rather than something that can be deprioritized.

And I'm not 100% sure that shadow parts solves the problems too. In an inflexible environment the first step in change is to do a gap analysis and the community could step up with more of those use case analysis and ready patterns to adopt
