I see this effect at every scale factor, macro to micro. The insidious nature of predators in an ecosystem that grew without them -- or which normative antibodies once taxed -- is distracting in its destructive efficiency.

So JS bloat disproportionately taxing the poorest while "full stack engineers" getting paid ridonkulous amounts compared to the truly skillful fits effortlessly with landlords externalising costs & milking a moribund social contract by blocking development.
