Tweets can sour quickly :( Honestly, the reason I joined Salesforce was because of the investments to go with Web Standards. With browsers supporting more app features JS frameworks should all be pointing in this direction.

Not to take away from it (it looks really cool), but the support matrix isn't that weird? From their doc its the seomwhat typical "latest everything + IE11"pic.twitter.com/mZWfHFz3Dz

The reason that list is weird is because was taken from our “Saleforce official supported browsers” (we don’t want our customers to use old versions of any browsers - but IE11) but technically anything that is >= IE11 spec wise we support.

Not create-lwc-app, but lwc-create-app. So Salesforce frontend devs are not aware of yarn or react? ...
-
for those whom this is not clear for: https://yarnpkg.com/en/docs/cli/create … . That create-newstupidframework-app naming convention has a purpose in real life

An interesting choice they made to be aware of is that they don't own the "lwc" package name. Their toolchain replaces it with the real name. I guess a fair few people will try `npm i lwc`

Just here to remind folks excited about this announcement that
@salesforce supports the work of ICE and their “border activities.” This software is part of the system that supports cruel treatment of and violence a of vulnerable against populations in this country.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
