Seen a considerable number of people lately who are convinced they have to use virtual Dom libraries for everything because someone told them the Dom was slow in 2013. Gonna be fun to rewrite all that code later I bet

At least theoretically microfrontends architecture can solve this problem. Such approach allows for small, incremental rewrites, component by component. Also, a rise of webcomponents as a target for frameworks, will make this problem easily solvable.

Maybe the real answer is to push for innovations in syntax analysis and transformation. That way you can use 1gig of node_modules and “super tree shaking +” will trim it down to whatever LOC you actually need.
