You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
The situation is good, tho. Can reach all Android (80% of mobile), web traffic, and desktop app needs from a single codebase. TWAs are letting teams re-use their PWA UIs in Android apps too. Massive improvement over building 3+ separate UIs, even if iOS continues to tax teams.
Yeah, I tried installing http://messages.google.com as a web app a little while back on iOS and found I couldn't with Chrome and it didn't work with Safari even though I could install to home screen. Still not there.
Apple neither let's others ship a modern engine nor integrate deeply (things like Add-to-homescreen). Can't even *really* change default browser.
