I did a multimedia course (mostly flash, some web) which was ok. I didn't learn a lot from them, but I learned while working on the projects. My course included an internship year, which got me down to London and kick-started my career.

(I want to stress that I loved my time at university and wouldn't change it. The coursework pushed me to build stuff. And for the first time, I met other people interested in developing for the web)

Second this last bit; I dropped out of undergrad but the time at uni was foundational (even if the schoolwork wasn't). Thankfully I got out without debt.
