Note the article is logging via chrome:inspect. May change behaviour. Would trust adb logcat more re: activity wake time.

Also, it reads like "Android apps can do things in the background sometimes!!!!???!!!!"...which is not news? Only foreground page was scheduled to post tasks; comports with usual Android model.
