Chrome on iOS is such a pain. A surprising number of people seem to use it and no one realizes it's not actually Chrome but just a crippled webkit webview missing major features: 1. No Service Worker 2. Can't print or save as PDF 3. No support for GetUserMedia Why is this OK?!

It's clearly not OK, but rich users can afford Apple's not-so-subtle platform bigotry towards native (and the slice of revenue they can take there). Letting us really compete might upset that? IDK.

Your list is also *so* generous to them. Off the top of my head, they're also behind *is Safari* on: - Web Push Notifications (ZOMFG) - Audio Worklet - Custom Paint - Animation Worklet - Web Animations - Pointer Events - CSS Typed OM - Web Bluetooth - etc., etc.

I get it tho; struggling startup, can't fund a whole browser team, story as old as time! (See also: Facebook's in-app-"browser", which adds extra fun insecurity and privacy risks to the mix!)

Separate from true browser choice, I really think the faux Chrome thing is problematic purely for the confusion it causes.
