Iran is a one-party system run by religious fundamentalists whose stated goal is to annihilate my country with nuclear weapons. They are serious about starting "the final war". I have nothing but love for the Iranian people, but the Ayatollah's nuclear ambitions must be opposed.

The question of the JCPA isn't about absolutes. Things that take us closer to negotiated peace on verifiable terms seem good to me (although I could be missing a ton, ofc)

I typically exist in 1 of 2 states: vaporized or non-vaporized. Negotiation requires good faith. The lack here is well demonstrated. This interview, wherein a middle-class Iranian, while lamenting his personal savings, hopes for the regime's end. https://www.npr.org/sections/money/2018/07/10/627818329/the-price-of-a-hyundai-in-iran … (6:44)

Again, I can only hope that negotiation on the basis of shared interests wins the day. Absolutism is the annihilation of the possible.
