LKML is the sort of performatively bad time I hope nobody on my team ever has to deal with. So toxic that it literally inspired me to try to do better in communities I work in.

Right, the Linux kernel community dynamic is terrible, but yet used by the whole industry, much more so than many projects with vastly better communities. If the take is "anarcho-capitalism is bad and good governance structure is important", then I'm 100% on board.
