The crisis of legitimacy is why I've forced our teams to use incubation (modeled on IETF and Raf's TC39 process, which we now take for granted). Going to places where you can more easily meet users *matters* at the early stages.
...only if they're in the search engine users are looking to -- App Stores. Obviously not the end-state I want, but current requirement.

I wouldn’t hate this idea. I think it’s net positive to blur the line between “native” and web. It serves to erode the walled garden. It feels unlikely that Apple/Google would actually agree to that.

"TWAs" get part of the way there. And MS is listing PWAs in their store (though I don't suspect many users are going there). Putting PWAs in app stores *seems* like a logical next step.
