@Google Duo is terrible on Pixelbook! Dog slow, can't use external camera, acts weird with external monitor, crashes and leaves uncloseable error overlap over whole desktop capturing all mouse events. Why not just do a proper working web app? @slightlylate @jubertipic.twitter.com/pXetCBNFtV

Not sure whether it is my 130% upscaling, but the Android app is really really slow and janky whatever you do The crashes are bad, but leaving crash dialogs on top of each other, making them not closable is bad.

Also, this should work fine on external desktop and allows for choosing camera, like any web app can do on Chrome OS

As noted elsewhere, there are significant improvements for Android apps coming in ChromeOS 71. One step at a time...

On my other machine running CrOS Canary (71) I am experiencing exactly the same problems.. and even the play store has some repaint issues when being resized. Seems unlikely all those issues will be fixed in time for 71 to be released, but I am hoping 🙂

Same... Always slightly blurry and alien, but this is just really bad. But, btw, the new Google Assistant dialog is also very blurry on Canary and that is web based
