A huge problem is that libraries often directly depend on polyfills, ie: import Promise from 'bluebird'; This is horrible and should stop immediately. If the application is responsible for polyfilling it can serve them selectively.

I think it comes down to convenience vs following best practices, and it seems like convenience keeps winning all things frontend at the moment
. I think tools like http://polyfill.io or my own https://github.com/wessberg/Polyfiller … helps with bridging that Gap.

I wonder if https://polyfill.io/v2/docs/ will help. I understand not everyone might want/should do this, but still I think this is a convenient solution to manage polyfills.
