If this happened in Redmond, it would be a lot harder for me to be carless. Tech insisting on weird little exurban enclaves comes with some obligation to make that a sustainable place to spend the day.

Redmond could do it (as could MTV), but removal of cafe's should come hand-in-hand with relaxed zoning.
