It hasn't been lifted. Dashes still very much required in custom element names and HTML remains case-insensitive.

I meant the restriction on two-word components in Ember. I think the conclusion was PascalCase was enough for build-time tools to tell apart Ember components from web components. I didn't know custom els were case-insensitive – in practice does anyone use anything besides lower?

Also Ember templates will continue to be able to render custom elements without any problem. I believe it's still accurate to describe Ember's HTMLbars as a superset of HTML.
