"do they care?" is a question without a reference point. I care about many things, but not equally. You might also ask (perhaps in a thread?) where folks get their news.

I.e., a strong Remainer, I believe that May et. al. *do* care about securing what *they* think is a good deal, but that they are wildly delusional about their chances and are also committed to a worse deal than the UK already enjoys.

The lack of a parliamentary investigation into the circumstances surrounding the Brexit referendum is shocking.
