Dear @ChromiumDev, how do I permanently disable AMP in Chrome/iOS? Over the course of many years I have really tried to give it a fair shake and all I can say is from the most fundamental core of my being I did not consent to AMP, do not like it, and want it to go away forever

Sadly, isn’t it the content providers who consented by making amp sites for google to surface by default? I agree the behavior (especially on iOS) is kinda funky...though admittedly much better than when it first shipped.

I don’t care about the implementation. I just want consent, and AMP is literally gettimg in the way of meaningful human interactions. Do I just need to run a proxy on a VPN that spoofs my User-Agent?

If it’s not UA-sniffing, what is it gated on? I certainly don’t see it ln Chrome Desktop

AMP being presented from results is a Search feature. I've also requested a way to opt-out.
