      So @YouTube are cancelling partnership on any channel under 1000 subs or 4000 hours view time PER MONTH! After years of being compliant with their rules, I take that as a big 'Fuck You!' to all smaller creators like myself. Bad decision YouTube, very bad decision.

      Still has interesting implications. Basically, you have to work your ass off to make people use @TeamYouTube's platform for 4000+ hours *for free* before they start even thinking about paying you.

      Just doing some math: a 10min video each week with 500 views would be enough to top those 4000 hours. Shouldn't be to hard if you wanna be a "youtuber"

      A 10 min video with 500 views is probably ~2000 minutes of watch time. You can't assume a view equals watch time for the full video - almost no one watches to the end of videos.
