Is @Naughty_Dog still using that kind of state-based scripting? Possibly it got more powerful over the years or is it completely out dated?

      They still use state based scripting, it's a good method of doing it. Honestly any scripting language of decent power is the best way to go. Visual scripting with node based systems suck if you want to do anything halfway complex.

      My new place of work has the best scripting language I've used so far. It's array system, which is similar to tables in lua, makes handling complex data easy.
