I agree. A major coordination is needed but as said for SEAA also SLE straddles several research areas (eg., programming languages) and coordinating with all of the conferences is a mess. As said SLE has a 2nd deadline to accommodate these issues. My 2¢

Indeed the SCs should sit together and discuss this. As for , the original deadline is in July. This year we decided to introduce another one before, and due to many constraints April was the only possible date... Hopefully the dates will be better synchronized next year

It's been my pleasure to give today the @sleconf Most Influential Paper Award 2021 to Andrew Sutton & @stroustrup for their paper "Design of Concept libraries for C++" presented at SLE'11. It had a seminal impact in the design of Concepts for C++, and eventually made it in C++20!
