    I spent my early childhood living near the Mt. Olive Pickle Company and the smell of the brine was and is always in the air. Literally the worst smell ever & one of the reasons I hate pickles lol.

    that reminds me of when there was the soda factory over by waverly. i think the city paper once gave it "best environmental aroma", it smelled like a different flavor every day
