    Showing our daughter the clip of “You Can Fly” from ’s 1953 version of Peter Pan, reminded me of one the movie’s powerful messages: to fly, u must think “happy thoughts.” U need pixie dust too, but ur feet won’t leave the ground without positivity!

    Flights are a wonderful opportunity in our ‘interruption culture’ to do deep work. Just remember to look out the airplane window every now & again. It can take your breath away 🌎

    Watched “The Little Mermaid” with our daughter recently. Anyone else wonder about Sebastian’s coloring? Thought red was the color of cooked lobster. Couldn’t get the thought out of my head throughout the movie. Had to be a deliberate decision. But why?! 🦞

    1/10: Retail points of sale as an acquisition channel for charity has always made sense: right before you spend 💰, give it, even if just the net from rounding to the nearest $1. Make giving an impulse purchase, much like gum or chapstick. But ‘s model seems even better

    We're nearing the end of 2019, almost 20 years after the founding of , and I was just dropped into an Encyclopedia "free trial" flow. Judging from their web design (below), the 250 year old company has had the same site since Wikipedia launched!

    10/Requiring people to go into public enclosed shelters, like those pictured below, could be another way to reduce usage. There is nothing “cool” about hanging out in cage-like boxes.

    Dear . I’m a big fan of my 18 oz Rambler (below). Has a great weight. Holds liquid temperature well, while its brim is kind on the lips. Dishwasher-safe makes it all the more convenient. Only issue: the top sits awkwardly on the table, dripping on the surface beneath.
